A Message from Cassandra Jones

I believe that a strong court system, with an unbiased, firm, and fair judge, is the bedrock to keeping Douglas County a safe and strong community.  As a small business owner, employer, and mother, I know the importance of keeping our community safe. My experience in government and private practice, as an attorney, arbitrator, mediator, and justice of the peace pro tem, have given me the experience and expertise necessary to keep Douglas County a safe and strong community.

As Justice of the Peace, I will:

• Ensure that the law is equally and fairly applied to all persons
• Clearly and consistently enforce the law, especially bail and sentencing conditions
• Empower victims to seek and obtain the protection they are entitled to
